John Mayer Alicia Keys Grammy Performance: "No One"

Alicia was introduced as an exquisite artist by twenty-five(25) time Grammy Award winner Stevie Wonder just before the performance of her award-winning song "No One". John Mayer joined her on vocals while delivering a beautifully resonant guitar solo.

They embrace after the much anticipated performance-- one of the many highlights of the Grammy telecast.

John Mayer and Alicia Keys to Perform Together At Grammies

John Mayer and Alicia Keys will be performing together at the Grammies. And, that performance should be exceptional.Alicia is nominated for two Grammies for her performance on "No One": "Best Female R&B Vocal Performance - No One" and for Best R&B song - No One. Congratulations to Alicia! John is nominated for his song "Belief".

This will for me certainly make up for their not having done a duet during the Live Earth concert last July.Whether they sing the "Lesson Learned" off of Alicia's latest release "As I Am"," John's "Gravity",which Alicia joined him on during his live show at New York City's Madison Square Garden last year or any other song either has written, anticipate a stunning performance. They have good chemistry. They have a lot in common(read more on this). Not in the least being the fact that they are each very fine musicians and they've won a slew of Grammies between them.

Peace,

Cynthia

Global Day of Action Against Poverty!

Heavier Octaves Quote for the Day:

"The curse of poverty has no justification in our age. It is socially as cruel and blind as the practice of cannibalism at the dawn of civilization, when men ate each other because they had not yet learned to take food from the soil or to consume the abundant animal life around them. The time has come for us to civilize ourselves by the total, direct and immediate abolition of poverty."

- Martin Luther King, Jr.

This is the day for one billion people around the world who live in extreme poverty.Today One members and activists from around the world are walking the halls of congress and delivering tens of thousands of letters about the Jubilee Act.Reverend David Duncombe is eating for his first day after a 40 day fast.

Today the One organization is calling on you to call members of Congress asking them to co-sponsor the Jubilee Act.
